On Sunday 18th September, Eurotunnel commissioned POW and QED to pay tribute to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with a stunning projection on the White Cliffs of Dover.

The occasion called for the very best skills and technology: Two Christie RGB-4K40 laser projectors were used to cover the full height of the cliffs, blended to create an enormous 350m wide canvas, and a disguise vx4 server rack was chosen to deliver the content.

The uneven and variegated nature of the cliffs meant that extreme care needed to be taken to show Her Majesty's image in the most fitting light. The vx4 provided rapid blending and geometric correction and also the ability to size and position the assets to allow the best creative choices to be made, and to capture the images at twilight when the beauty of the cliffs could also be appreciated.
